IT SupportAnnual Service AgreementWith an Annual Service Agreement from PST you are free to concentrate on your day-to-day business, leaving the running of your IT systems to us. In supporting your network, our philosophy is to deliver total peace-of-mind by taking responsibility for the maintenance of your computer systems. We recognise that every organisation is different and has different IT systems and support needs. You decide the level of support your business requires. Our Service Agreements are tailored to meet your precise business needs, you decide which of the following modules are most appropriate to your business: Advanced System Monitoring – Using PST’s bespoke monitoring software, we remotely monitor your servers and critical PCs all day, every day - any problems, or potential problems, are reported directly to our engineers. Furthermore, every day, you get peace-of-mind with an e-mail confirming the results of health checks on your key systems. Server Support – We will provide regular, scheduled maintenance of your servers; checking your systems to confirm the following vital services:
If you don’t already have a modern firewall, we’ll install one on the perimeter of your network. This will protect you from external intrusion, and allow our engineers to identify and rectify any problems via secure remote access. Telephone Support – PST’s engineers are available to answer your technical or user queries, and record any system problems between 08.30 and 17.00 every working day. Out-of-hours voicemail services are also available. On-site Maintenance – Visits by PST engineers, as and when required, to replace components or rectify system problems that could not be fixed remotely. We provide all Thames Valley clients with a guaranteed four-hour, on-site critical server response as standard. Remote User Access – We will configure your firewall and load appropriate software on remote PCs so that key users have secure remote access to your IT systems. This allows them to access email, data and applications that are resident on your network, from anywhere with a broadband Internet connection – from their home, from another office or from client sites. Mail Secure – We provide e-mail monitoring services to protect you from spam and all e-mails containing malicious content such as viruses, trojans or spyware. Broadband Internet Access – We can provide a range of ADSL and SDSL business broadband services, fixed IP addresses, e-mail and web hosting services. ProblemSolve User Support – To support your users, PST engineers can conduct regular ½-day scheduled visits to your major business locations. This could involve answering system queries, installing new devices, installing remote access facilities or re-configuring user software (e-mail, peripheral drivers etc.). Warranty Extra – Although your servers may have been supplied with a 3-year next business day manufacturers on-site warranty, this only covers the replacement of faulty hardware components and does not include the re-build and configuration of your operating system, applications and data. That’s where we come in – if necessary, we will totally re-build your server, only handing over when everything is tested and working to your satisfaction. Installation Extra – All PST Service Agreement clients receive a 50% discount from standard PST day rates for installing and testing any new hardware or software components. |
